Today Queen Letizia of Spain was in Oviedo to visit International Music School where summer courses are taking place. For today’s joyful occasion, Her Majesty shifted into an informal shirtdress with regal importance.
The night blue dress seemed like a more informal take on the Carolina Herrera cut sported by Meghan Markle today in Windsor. Where Markle’s version, done in denim, emphasized cap sleeves and a midi length, Queen Letitia’s got cues from traditional shirting with double patch pockets, full sleeves, and a button Qdown the front.
It’s also worth seeing that Queen Rania of Jordan put her mark on the form in May with a report by Hellessy. Much like her fellow royals, Queen Letizia taught her to look with simple heels—tonally adjusted suede slingbacks—for a regal effect.
